Open Mind Learning’s one-on-one academic sessions provide personalized, strengths-based support tailored to your child’s unique learning profile, helping them build academic and executive functioning skills, self-advocacy, confidence, and emotional resilience in a focused and growth mindset oriented environment.
Some children learn best one-to-one, be it due to a learning difference, learning style, or the need for something slightly different in the way information is presented or environment in which it is presented. Whatever the reason you are seeking a one-to-one learning environment for your child, their individuality as a learner will be their greatest asset here at Open Mind Learning.
We tailor our one-to-one sessions to each individual child's strengths and challenges, as well as their interests, learning style and personal goals. This promotes a positive experience in our environment, which is growth mindset oriented and addresses the whole child as it relates to their learning.
This service is appropriate as supplemental education to school, or as a part of an alternative schooling arrangement.

Individualized Learning Sessions
Where Confident Readers Begin
Our Reading Groups provide individualized, evidence based instruction in a supportive small group setting where students build the skills they need to become stronger, more confident readers. Lessons are tailored to each student's unique learning profile and focus on phonics, fluency, comprehension, vocabulary, and reading strategies. These are academic learning groups, not social skills groups, designed to help students make meaningful progress while fostering a love of reading and lifelong learning.
